Cool customer!
The Cooling Industry Awards has appointed Wildwood PR to help boost visibility for this benchmark industry scheme. The company is also tasked with raising awareness for the contribution made by the refrigeration and air-conditioning sector in reducing its environmental impact.
Established in 2004, the Cooling Industry Awards, organised by the industry magazine, RAC (Refrigeration and Air Conditioning), identifies the best in the emerging wave of eco-friendly technologies, services and solutions in the sector.
At the core of the Wildwood PR campaign will be a pro-active media relations programme. This will focus on promoting the Awards and communicating the benefits of the winning technologies and companies across the sector and beyond into key ‘end-user’ markets such as retail, leisure, industrial and facilities management.
The Cooling Industry Awards features 12 categories, embracing “Green End-Users” on large and small projects and specific “Installations” in the retail and the commercial / industrial sector. It will also recognise the top “Environmental Pioneers” in air conditioning and refrigeration, and celebrate the best service innovation, training initiative and marketing campaign of the year. The scheme is supported by leading manufacturers, contractors and installation companies serving the sector. Among past winners are Coca-Cola, Daikin, Greenpeace, Mitsubishi Electric and Tesco to name a few. The event culminates in a gala awards evening held at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London, on 3 October, 2007. For a full list of categories and further information visit the awards website: www.CoolingIndustryAwards.com.
In addition to the Cooling Industry Awards, Wildwood PR is also the PR agency for two other prestigious building industry award schemes: the KBB (Kitchen Bedroom & Bathroom) Review Awards and the CEDIA (Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association) Awards.
