Awards success

At the recent West Sussex County Times (WSCT) Business Awards ceremony, Wildwood PR walked away triumphant with not one, but two accolades.

Wildwood PR was awarded ‘highly commended’ in both of the categories the company entered – Business of the Year and Best Environmental Initiative. The event held at the prestigious South Lodge Hotel was attended by more than 100 local business professionals and key political figures, including guest of honour, Shadow Cabinet member and local Horsham MP, the Rt. Hon. Francis Maude.

During a special visit to Wildwood PR after the event, Mr Maude praised the company’s achievements. “The WSCT Business Awards celebrate the best of business in and around Horsham and Wildwood is certainly an example of that. It’s particularly impressive that they have chosen to focus on environmental initiatives and I’m delighted this achievement has been recognised so publicly.”

Wildwood PR gained the ‘highly commended’ award for Business of the Year, due to its success in competing against larger, London based agencies which has seen the company enjoy 14 years of consecutive growth. Following on from the company introducing a ‘low-carbon’ policy in 2007, Wildwood PR was also ‘highly commended’ in the Best Environmental Initiative.

The WSCT Business Awards were set up in order to give recognition to the achievements of local companies, and celebrate the best the district has to offer.
